The book shop contains a unique collection of over 9000 titles, all with a global focus. From politics around the world, to human rights, sustainability, and development issues; books about a wide range of issues from many countries across the world.

We stock a range of contemporary and classic fiction from the Majority World's best authors, from Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie to Hari Kunzru; from Xin Ran to Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

We have a range of non-fiction titles covering art, cookery, sport, music, theatre and more.

children's books

We have a great range of children's books, all about countries around the world, written by authors from Africa, Asia, South and Central America and the Caribbean.

teaching resources

In the book shop you will find our resource centre, with over 3000 Global Citizenship teaching materials including books, activities, videos, photo packs and much more. Every curriculum area is covered, and many cross-curricula themes as well. You can purchase all of RISC's own publications from our resource centre, or via our online shop.

risc book club

The book club meets once a month to discuss new and classic international fiction. We aim to support the work of authors from the Majority World, that is, Africa, Asia, South and Central America and the Caribbean, by reading their novels and poetry.
